Hundreds of families type 376 Santa Rosa Blvd into their GPS's every year before making the cross country journey to Fort Walton Beach.   These folks have already figured out that Okaloosa Island, Fort Walton Beach's main landmark, is home to the finest sugar-white sand in Florida.  The natural dunes created by wind and sea are covered with sea oats, providing the perfect backdrop for the tropical getaway at Gulf Dunes Resort.  Topping off the beach, is the water of the Emerald Coast.  It's distinct blue-green color is found only along the beaches of Destin and Fort Walton Beach.

Gulf Dunes offers one bedroom, two bedroom, and three bedroom condos for families of any size, and will sleep up to ten people.  Every condo at Gulf Dunes also has a private washer and dryer for your convenience.  Each single bedroom unit has bunk beds in the hallways, perfect for kids.  King beds are standard in the main bedrooms, and each living room has a queen sleeper sofa.  The balconies of the one bedroom units is located just off the living room, and has a direct ocean view. 

The two bedroom units at Gulf Dunes are actually two and a half bedrooms. The master is standard with a king bed, and the second bedroom ranges from double twins to king beds.  The bonus room commonly contains a set of bunk beds or a full size bed, but has no  closet.  Each bedrooms typically has a TV and DVD player. Three bedroom Gulf Dunes units have an extra bathroom, for a total of three, with the master tub being a Jacuzzi garden tub. The balcony of each two and three bedroom unit has a direct ocean view and stretches from the living room to the master bedroom, with sliding glass doors at each entrance.

Each beachside pool at Gulf Dunes offers fun for both kids and adults.  Chase lounges line the blue concrete lined pools, and there is a pergola located on each pool deck for food and drink.  Showers are located along each of the two beach boardwalks, which branch off the pool decks as well.  Located near each pool is a restroom, open during operational hours.
