Sand Dollar Townhomes are Classic Destin

Want to find the purest white beaches in North America?  The Florida Panhandle is home to miles of powder white sand beaches.  Destin hosts thousands of beach vacationers each year, primarily for the beaches found here.  One of the original vacation spots is along Scenic Gulf Drive in a little place called Sand Dollar Townhomes.  The Sand Dollar Townhomes were built directly on the beach and have been home to thousands of visitors year after year.  These beach front homes have that original Destin feel. Featuring beachside wood balconies with private grills, and direct beach access, you can literally step barefoot from your unit to the beach.

Sand Dollar Townhomes are Classic Destin

The Sand Dollar Townhomes have been surrounded by modern resorts since first built in the early 1980’s.   But you can’t get the old fashion beach house experience from a resort.  At Sand Dollar, you can feel the beach beneath your feet and smell the ocean as you sit on your private balcony.  The ocean is so close, it seems that you can reach out and touch it.  Many Sand Dollar vacationers return year after year for this unbeatable beach experience.

Pompano Joe’s famous seafood restaurant is just a walk away.  Just step out your front door and stroll down the sidewalk to one of Destin’s most famous seafood grills.  At Sand Dollar Townhomes, you’ll also be within minutes to other restaurants such as The Crab Trap, and Captain Dave’s on the Grill.  Silver Sands Premium Outlets is also just around the corner.  Destin Commons outdoor mall is just a few miles away and offers too many restaurants to list.

Staying at the Sand Dollar townhomes will definitely be a memorable experience.  Nearby activities such as parasailing, bungee jumping, jet skis, snorkeling, and scuba diving adventures are just a few.  Many activities are within a walk or short drive, but you may venture 10 miles to the west to Destin’s famous Harbor Walk Village.  There is food and fun for the whole family.  Kids activities, music, shopping, & dining just to start.  Face painting and caricatures, dolphin cruises, dinner cruises, ocean side food, stroll the docks, weekly fireworks and vintage airplane shows are some other local favorites.

Reserve your next family beach vacation at Sand Dollar Townhomes and take home memories for a lifetime.  For reservation information about Sand Dollar Townhomes or other Destin Condo Rentals, call Sunset Resort Rentals at (850) 665-7889 or visit

Premium Destin Property Management

Destin Property Management Overview:

If you own a vacation rental property in Destin, you are not alone.  Thousands of property investors seek the right Destin Property Management team year after year.  With seemingly dozens of property managers to choose from, finding the right one for you can be a bit tasking.  It all depends on the goals you have set for yourself and your investment.  Each Destin property manager will approach the task differently, so it’s important to find one that shares your values.

Destin property managers range from mega-corporations who manage thousands of beach condominiums, to smaller agencies who manage ten, twenty, or thirty properties. Larger vacation managers tend to go for the masses. Their goal is to corner the market, serving everyone that will purchase their product. They provide elegant vacation packages to clients, but tend to have high fees assessed to the property owner. Most resorts are primarily managed by one of these types of organizations. The inventory and professionalism is generally what the vacationer enjoys, but this can also have the reverse affect. With thousands of properties to clean and maintain, details are often overlooked. Housekeeping is not always up to par, and customers can sometimes feel lost in the shuffle.

Which Destin Property Management team is right for you?

The first question to be asked is  when choosing a Destin Property Management team is “What are my goals?” False expectations generally lead to disappointment.  Be clear on your goals before going forward.   Is your property an investment or a retirement home?  Will you be letting others rent the property for vacationing, or will the property be vacant for spans of time? If rentals is your goal, then how aggressive are you willing to be in getting the business? Most importantly, how well do you want your property cared for, and how much are your willing to spend? These are all important factors, and must be predetermined in order to choose the right Destin property management team.

By choosing a smaller Destin property management organization, you will have access to unique benefits.  Dealing directly with the owner or someone who can make decisions is valuable. You will want to be careful though, and be sure that your company is following legal protocol in regards to insurance and compliance. Your manager should have access the area of your property and not be located too far away for frequent service needs. Smaller companies do pose the risk of frequent change, but this is to be expected.  A successful company is always researching service improvements, and it’s easier to implement change in a smaller agency than a large corporation.  Smaller vacation rental agencies can also be more flexible, while implement stricter rental policies for better production. Housekeeping and maintenance will be on a more personal level. Some smaller Destin property management agencies spend about twice as much time inside your property as do the corporations.

As smaller management agencies are fighting the corporations for business, they should be putting their best foot forward.   From a smaller Destin property management agency, you can expect more rentals on the calendar, for a slightly lesser consumer price. Volume will make up the difference in income and can usually yield more money for the owner.  If you choose to go with a smaller, local rental agency, look for one that is growing.  A stagnant or shrinking company usually means that services are merely average of less than acceptable.

Sunset Resort Rentals offers a premier package for property owners.  Full calendars equals more steady income, and properties are kept in pristine condition.  See more about what Sunset Resort Rentals property management has to offer by calling (850) 665-7889.  We look forward to assisting you.
