Experience the best of Okaloosa Island at Gulf Dunes Resort. Unit 217 is a spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom corner condo located on the third floor, offering a private balcony with clear views of the emerald shoreline. This rental provides the quiet atmosphere of an island stay while remaining just 10 minutes from the attractions and dining at Destin’s HarborWalk Village.
The interior is designed for comfort and privacy. The master suite features a king bed, direct balcony access, and a large bathroom with a double vanity, tub, and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third room is equipped with two twin beds. Each bedroom includes its own flat-screen TV and direct access to one of the three bathrooms. For extra guests, the living room includes a queen sleeper sofa.
A fully stocked, upgraded kitchen provides everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the condo to keep you connected. This seven-story complex features 102 units, each offering a private balcony with direct views of the Gulf of Mexico. These one- to three-bedroom condos include full kitchens and in-unit laundry, while the property itself offers two swimming pools, a fitness center, tennis courts, and grilling areas. Your rental will include seasonal beach service, providing you with beach chairs and umbrellas.
The resort is positioned near several local attractions on Okaloosa Island. Guests can walk to the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park and the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier, while The Boardwalk offers shopping and entertainment less than a mile away. For a wider variety of activities, the Destin Harbor Boardwalk is approximately 6 miles to the east, typically a 10-minute drive. This hub is the primary location for fishing charters, dolphin tours, and waterfront nightlife.
Parking: Free parking is provided for this unit for up to 3 vehicles. One designated space is covered, and the others are uncovered.
Food: For groceries, you’re just a short drive from Publix at Shoppes at Paradise Pointe or nearby Winn-Dixie, making snack time and meal prep stress-free. Dining options near Gulf Dunes are varied and accessible. Stewby’s Seafood Shanty is a popular spot for fresh seafood located directly across the street. Other nearby choices include Old Bay Steamer for steamed platters and The Gulf, which offers outdoor seating and bay views. For Italian cuisine, Vincenzo’s Italian Bistro is a short distance away, and The Shack provides a classic waterfront setting for local seafood.
Beach Service: One set (2 chairs and 1 umbrella) are provided complimentary with your reservation daily between Mar 1 and Oct 31. The beach service vendor will set the chairs up 8am-9am typically. Chairs are typically claimed as guests arrive. You will be able to reserve an available set of chairs with a towel, beach bag, etc. It is recommended that you reserve your chairs early while availability is plentiful. Additional sets may be purchased by speaking with the vendor upon arrival. Private chairs and canopies up to 10'x10' are generally allowed barring they do not interfere with the beach service access and/or view.
